Task 2.1 of the European Ediltrophy Project, dedicated to mapping best training practices and competition models in partner countries was completed in May. Under the coordination of the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción (FLC), this first phase was focused on conducting a thorough comparative analysis of regulatory frameworks, national training needs, key skills required in dry-construction systems, and tools already available at the national level, with the aim of building a shared, flexible and adaptable model at the European scale.

Based on the mapping results, Task 2.2 was implemented and finalized. The main result is the development of a comprehensive training programme for workers and technicians within the building industry. Contents, methodologies and tools proposed are meant to enhance professional skills with special attention to innovation, sustainability and the labor market needs.

Task 2.3, focused on piloting the training programme is getting started. This phase is intended to allow field testing of the developed modules, gathering feedback from trainers and trainees along with their assessment of the deliverables quality and effectiveness The main goal is to further review, input, if needed, and finalize proposed programmes for their rollout at the European level.

The next in-presence Transnational Partners Meeting (TPM) is due to take place on 2-3 September in Hamm, Germany. This offers an essential opportunity to discuss on results achieved so far, share different inputs from the pilot phase implementation, and jointly plan for activity delivery ahead.

The European Ediltrophy Project is progressing towards the development of a European system based on talent management and skills development within the construction industry , as a strategic sector for the ecological and digital transition.
